Distractions and Confusion

A few weeks ago in prayer, I felt an urgent need to pray for the global church. As I prayed, I started seeing the prayers of the saints moving and covering nations, big planes were flying going in different directions. All was good and peaceful. After a while, I looked down at earth, I noticed something different, the prayer covering was receding and looking up I saw why. Fighter jets had appeared and there was distraction and confusion. I asked the Lord why, He said the church was getting distracted and thrown into confusion by the enemy. The big planes represented growing ministries/churches, new spiritual heights/growth for a praying people and fighter jets are the enemy/warfare.

Whenever there’s growth, the enemy attacks, he changes things up, different weapons or tactics but our angle or position should always be the same though our weapon/prayer vary from season to season. We should always pray from a position of victory because those who are with us….2 Kings 6:16. No weapon formed against us shall prosper…Isaiah 54:17. If God be for us…Romans 8:31. We have overcome by the blood of the Lamb…Revelation 12:11

Please understand the global church isn’t the building but the people. Trials, troubles may come but our Father promised to never leave us nor forsake us….Deuteronomy 31:6; Hebrews 13:5. This is also not a time to retreat, fight the good fight of faith. Jesus has given us power and authority….Luke 10:19.

In this world, you will have trouble but take heart I have overcome the world – John 16:33

I’ve been praying for the body of Christ to be strengthened, be rooted and grounded in Christ and the word more than ever, for unity, love, compassion, grace and mercy.

Love and blessings!
