Numbers 20:3-5

And the people contended with Moses and spoke, saying: “If only we had died when our brethren died before the LordWhy have you brought up the assembly of the Lord into this wilderness, that we and our animals should die here?  And why have you made us come up out of Egypt, to bring us to this evil place? It is not a place of grain or figs or vines or pomegranates; nor is there any water to drink.”

The journey is not always easy, but the promise is always worth the wait. That one good thing you had going on in your years of ‘captivity’ is not worth forsaking your ‘promise land.’ When God shows up in your situation and moves you out of it, despite how things may look at the moment, He has a good reason for the path He’s put you on. He knows where He’s taking you. Yes, waiting is not always easy but God is worth our focus, trust and attention. Trust Him to take you to the land flowing with milk and honey that He has promised you.
