Behold, the Lord’s eye is upon those who fear Him [who revere and worship Him with awe], who wait for Him and hope in His mercy and loving-kindness (AMPC)
I read this verse when I was in the waiting for something God had promised me. I was frustrated and tired. Waiting isn’t easy. As soon as I read this verse, I felt like an arrow had pierced something in my heart. “FOCUS” I had started looking at the journey more and more and not on the One who was walking me through it. I repented and looked into the loving eyes of my Savior and felt a surge of love rush through me. I knew then, I was not only going to make it, but will also grasp the blessing as long as I stayed focused on Him. I did and the praise that rose from within was one born of a strength only He could have given me. I’m thankful that He directed me to this verse.
Do not get tired of waiting. He has not forgotten His word. His eye is upon you; revere Him, worship Him, hope in Him and wait upon Him. He will surely come through on His word. (Thy Kingdom come, Thy will be done)
