Song of Solomon 2:10 My beloved speaks and says to me: “Arise, my love, my beautiful one, and come away
He’s been holding me in His arms, gliding me through life’s dance floor. I love being in His arms. I love when He whispers in my ear how wonderful and special I am to Him. I am His best. I am His favorite. I am His image. I am His bride. My beloved is mine, and I am his;…(Song of Solomon 2:16). In this moment of deep intimacy, His eyes bore into mine like I am His greatest creation, like I am His very best: and I am. His hands lovingly formed me, etching His very image in me, crafting me with such tenderness gently forming every curve then breathing His very breath in my lungs. I gaze upon the Lamb soaking in His unhidden love for me, cherishing every moment, drawing in every breath of His fragrance.
Yes, I live for my Groom. My Love. My Jesus. My Bridegroom. I lean in and lay my head on His shoulders as His tune glides us farther into His presence. The bridegroom lavishing his love on His bride. Each blissful step, every turn on His dance floor I bask in glorious abandon of bridal love so deep my breath catches. Only He can love me this deep. I listen as His strong steady heart beat echoes in my chest bringing my heart to life in a new way unknown to me. With tears in my eyes, I lift my head and whisper, “I love You Jesus.” He smiles deep, His eyes twinkle and He says, “I know you do.” He draws me closer and my heart swells some more and He speaks on His voice rumbling about us. He speaks of His love for me. He speaks of His desire to be with me.
His love fans the flame in my heart consuming me with such power my knees buckle. His arms never letting me go, glide me on His dance floor of love, a bride cherished in Her Grooms arms, embraced with such tenderness, light as a feather. My glorious One. My Love. My Light. My heart’s desire. Jesus; You whom my soul loves.
This is what my Love did; He brought me to the banqueting house and his banner over me was love (Song of Solomon 2:4). Jesus is my perfect One. He sings over me, dances all around me and speaks life in me. I love Him. My life is full of Him and I never want that to change. I am jealous of my time with Him as He is with mine. I want more of Him. Thank You Jesus for inspiring me to be everything You have said I am. You’re the one my heart longs for. You are mime and I am Yours.
I just want to encourage you to seek Jesus daily; there is so much of Him to experience. While you may know His love for you, never shy off from seeking more. It’s His desire to draw you deeper into His presence, for you to experience Him on a deeper level. Cultivate an intimate relationship with Him and He will you amaze you. His love is deep love. (Ephesians 1:17 I keep asking that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the glorious Father, may give you the Spirit of wisdom and revelation, so that you may know him better)
