Fighting Through the Maze of Crazy

Have you ever felt like your voice is gone and I don’t mean literally but you have nothing to say to anyone and worse can’t even pray because words fail you. No matter how hard you try, your voice seems shoved back to the back of our mind. There are times when physically exhausted and the fight is not in you and you have no idea how you will get out of the maze because you have no understanding how you got there in the first place. Is the maze even real? Are you really stuck?

Maybe the attack came as a result of sins you have indulged in that have opened a door for the enemy to come shake up your sense of peace and organization leaving you to feel like you’ve gone through a spiritual tornado. Maybe it’s the enemy wanting to drag you down swiftly by using deception. He pushes thoughts in your mind that make you feel like the atmosphere is polluted by a silence so deafening no one can hear you if you call out. While you are trying to figure out what is going, the enemy is busy unfurling seams that held things together for you. He has your focus elsewhere and your mood is dipping by the minute and before you know it, you are having a dark day with no light on the horizon. Oppression is real. The enemy brings it as a swift attack or a slow progress. Either method is dangerous for any believer especially a new believer. It takes a toll on your emotions which may affect your physical wellbeing, almost like you are all over the place. The oppressing feeling can be so overwhelming that some give up and get sucked into dark depths which are hard to come out of.

There is good news. If you are a believer, you can overcome this “funk” as I call it. If you are not a believer, repent and ask Jesus into your heart and make Him Lord and Savior over your life. Stay in the word no matter how weak you may feel. Command the enemy to leave as you have power and authority over the devil (Luke 10:19 Behold, I give you the authority to trample on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall by any means hurt you). Stand your ground, rebuke very attack against you and command the oppressing or depressing feeling to depart and not come back. Know who you are as a son or daughter (Ephesians 1:5 he predestined us for adoption to sonship through Jesus Christ, in accordance with his pleasure and will); that Jesus came to set you free and understand your identity is in Christ Jesus only. Don’t get discouraged if you’ve been reading the word and face this mountain and it seems like it’s not budging. Plough through the mountain with the sword of the Spirit which the word of God (Ephesians 6:17 and take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God).  Ask the Holy Spirit for help, He is your helper and He will guide you and expose the enemy and the ways which the enemy is using to come against you. Do not be afraid to ask God for help, He will send you help. Many are afraid to ask for help for whatever reason. (Matthew 18: For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them).
